Throughout my day, one word seems to crop up more often than any other: ‘Family’. I have the pleasure of meeting hundreds of parents, grandparents, couples as well as young adults looking to make their first move and it seems that moving home really is a family affair. Most commonly, I come across young adults moving out of the parental home either looking to rent or buy their first home, couples looking to buy together, upsize to accommodate children or downsize when they are older and the kids have finally left home (an event that is often filled with as much relief as it is sadness!).
As you can imagine, seeing this life cycle of our movements throughout our lifetimes can elicit a range of emotions as I am dealing with situations on a daily basis involving two things that us Brits tend to like to keep private – our financial situation and our personal life. As such, I treat this as a position of privilege and I thank each client for their time and honesty shared with me.
So what am I trying to say? As Telford’s leading family estate agent, of course I am going to be biased in saying that I believe the family business is king but in this particular industry, it really is my honest belief. When I look to use a company in my own personal life, I always choose a smaller, independent company rather than the biggest or noisiest competitor in the market because I have experienced a more personal, motivated service along with a higher quality of results. This may not be the case across the board of course, but I can proudly say that having just met the rigorous acceptance requirements for acceptance into the leading professional body for Estate and Letting Agency, the NAEA and ARLA (National association of Estate Agents and Association of Residential Letting Agents) as well as scoring 100% in a recent satisfaction survey of our customers that you can be assured of the highest standards of service and the best results when you employ Coleman Estates on your behalf.
Moving is a family business, so choose a family business.
