1977: Gill Coleman begins property development career in London.
1998-1999: Gill Coleman starts Coleman Estates from home in Shifnal.
Nov 1999: Coleman Quality Lettings open their first office in Wellington Railway Station.
11th May 1999: The company is incorporated as Coleman Quality Lettings by Gill and Jeff Coleman
2002: Coleman Quality lettings hold the first property seminars in Telford from September to December 2002 attracting some 200 people to each event resulting in an increase our lettings portfolio from 30 properties to 250 by February 2003.
February 2003: Coleman Quality Lettings move into a more prominent high street office in Market Street, Wellington.
2005: Coleman’s branches out into Residential Sales.
2006-7: Coleman’s enjoys a very successful first two years of sales in a thriving property market. Our managed lettings portfolio grows to one of the largest in Telford.
2007: Coleman’s moves into a larger office in a prime spot in Church Street, Wellington.
2008: Max Coleman rejoins Coleman’s full time after working at Foxton’s Estate Agents in Fulham post university.
2009-2012: Coleman’s successfully retains hundreds of landlords, successfully guiding them through one of the worst recessions in history.
2010: Kate Coleman joins Company working heading our property management department. Max Coleman is made Director of Sales.
2013: Kate Coleman is offered directorship and becomes Director of Lettings. Coleman’s rebrands as Coleman Estates with new corporate colours, logos, website and slogan subsequently celebrating the best year in the company’s history of trading.
2014: We celebrate our second successive best year of trading with record sales and lettings. We become Telford’s number one letting agent with over 170 lets in one year.
2015: We look forward to celebrating a third successive best year of trading with more and more customers choosing Coleman Estates on a weekly basis. Gill and Jeff Coleman hand over the business to Max and Kate Coleman who become Managing Director and Company Secretary respectively.
